[AUGUST 27, 2009]

On Tuesday, August 27, 2009, The Angeltones^® participated in a recording session in New York City, for the world premiere recording of Kitty's Kisses. Kitty's Kisses is a long-forgotten musical comedy by Con Conrad and Gus Kahn. We sang on five tracks: "Walkin' the Track", "Finaletto Act 1, Scene 1", "Promise Your Kisses", "Finale Act 1", and "The Finale Ultimo".

Kitty's Kisses graced the Broadway stage in 1926. PS Classics unveiled a recording of this forgotten musical which is available for purchase now. This recording features Broadways stars, such as Kate Baldwin, Rebecca Luker, Philip Chaffin, Andréa Burns, Danny Burstein, Victoria Clark, and Christopher Fitzgerald. The band is conducted by Sam Davis, who also orchestrated from original manuscripts. The album is produced by PS Classics co-founder Tommy Krasker.

We had a great time learning the intricate harmonies in these five pieces and practicing these upbeat tunes. This was a challenging and wonderful experience from start to finish. We would like to thank PS Classics co-founders Philip Chaffin and Tommy Krasker for this wonderful opportunity. We would also like to thank Sam Davis, who we really enjoyed working with as well.

[AUGUST 23, 2009]

The Angeltones^® received the red carpet treatment at the August 23, 2009 block party (a.k.a. Corky's Rockin' On The Riverfront) in beautiful Millville, NJ. We were thrilled and honored to be sharing the stage with legends such as The Emeralds and Hall of Famers, Danny & The Juniors!

The energy was HIGH, the singing ...DYNAMIC, and the dancing, HOT! Great tunes from a golden era and a rockin' good audience.

[DESTINATION DOOWOP]

The internet oldies radio station, Destination Doo Wop has added our new songs to their rotation. They will be played randomly on the New and Hot Music Hour at 2pm ET, meaning they have a playlist of 1000 songs and the computer randomly picks an hour's worth to play every day.

In addition, they have "scheduled" all of our new songs to play after the end of their regular playlist each day. So, for the next week, at around 3:55am, 8:55am, 1:55pm, 4:55pm and 10:55pm ET you can hear one of them played.
